Oh please, tell me again why I’m a horrible person for running this comic series like a legitimate business.

Let’s clear a few things up, shall we?

  • The donate button is there for people who would like to show their appreciation of this blog monetarily without adding more objects to their lives. It is not a mandatory obligation.
  • I am a professional artist and this has become a professional job for me. Contrary to popular belief, an artist does, in fact, need to eat.
  • The addition of social networking sites is to accommodate those who enjoy the comics but would rather share on those sites. Pretty standard practice, actually.
  • Wait, you legitimately have a problem with me copyrighting my work!? You honestly have a problem with me protecting myself from companies that would take advantage of my time and effort so that they can make a few quick bucks? I can’t even…
  • The ads. I actually thought long and hard about adding those and I monitor them carefully to make sure they are advertising sites that I feel my readers would enjoy. Tell me again why you have a problem with artists promoting their work?

I started this blog to vent my frustrations and help people with theirs. When it became a major time investment for me (around 20 hours a week), it became crucial for me to treat it like the part-time job it had become. Despite this, however, my focus has never drifted from providing my readers with entertaining comics and busty-related resources. If you have a problem with how I find that balance, you can leave right now.
